DIRECTIONS:
SUADA: By car/taxi/bus (for Thursday, Friday, Saturday milongas)
Remember: SUADA is an islet on the Bosphorus. It is also known as “Galatasaray adası”.
From Beşiktaş district drive along the shore (sahil yolu in Turkish) to Bebek district direction. The sea should be on your right. Pass Ortaköy district and continue to Kuruçeşme district. Pass Makro supermarket and Les Ottomans hotel on your right. After passing Migros supermarket on your left and traffic lights you will see Yamaha motor shop on your left. The boat stop for SUADA is across from that shop on your right. The Turkish version of this instruction is as follows. You can show it to the taxi driver & tell him that you want to get off at “Galatasaray Adası”:
If you are coming by bus, take “Bebek” bus. Get off at the first bus stop after passing Les Ottomans hotel and Makro supermarket. The bus stop is just across Migros supermarket. You can also tell the bus driver that you want to get off at “Galatasaray adası”. After getting off, walk towards the traffic lights. After passing the traffic lights you will see the boat stop for SUADA on your right.

ARMADA HOTEL: By car/taxi (for classes, Wednesday and Sunday milongas)
From Beşiktaş, drive along the shore (“sahil yolu” in Turkish) through Eminönü. As you pass Ahırkapı lighthouse, you will see traffic lights from where you can follow “Dedeefendi and Ayasofya” (Hagha Sophia) signs at the right hand side which will take you to Armada Hotel. The Turkish version of this instruction is as follows. You can show it to the taxi driver:
“Eminönü´nden sonra sahil yolundan devam edin. Ahırkapı deniz fenerini geçtikten sonra sağa ilk girişteki trafik ışığında Ayasofya ve Dedeefendi işaretini göreceksiniz. İşaretten saptıktan sonra sola döndüğünüzde Armada otelinin önüne geleceksiniz”.
